Thanks RR for another Free Sunday and for Agnes and Mom2 for hosting last week.

Hands do so many things and tell us much about the person to whom they are attached. They can be difficult to capture in a natural fashion. Often when taking photos of people you hear "What do I do with my hands?" Let's see what you have!

PAT Thanks for hosting the Challenge very nice start. I will be around tomorrow with a photo.

Monday and snow is coming. More hands. There's a story here...this elderly gentleman is on the decline. When I go for my violin lessons, he loves to talk. One day he pulled out his trumpet (one his father had given him) and told me everything about it, reverently touching each part of the instrument. I asked if he could still play it - he nearly blew the roof off with a loud bull-like blast! What a good time we both had. Showed him the pix and he said, "Well, I never...!" He was so pleased. I loved his wrinkled hands - hands that have worked hard all their lives and yet found time to play music, and do many other things.

Several things hands can do. They can pray, make fun of someone and stop a runner in football. Though I'm not sure how effective the last one is.
