Wonderful Mike. The fog shot is so typical of our area.
Thank you very much Vicki, you are correct I think it was taken near the St. Vincent church.

Outstanding shots! I enjoyed looking at each one!
Years ago I saw a photograph in Flying magazine much like #4 in the set above. The difference was the poor, lonesome tree had a biplane parked in the top branches, with a number of broken limbs on the tree, but only superficial damage to the plane. The caption underneath said (the best I can remember), "Aviation is not inheritantly dangerous, but to a greater extent, even than the sea, it is very unforgiving of the slightest incapacity, carelessness or neglect."
The 'quote' was from Gill Robb Wilson, early aviation pioneer (WWI), Presbyterian minister, founder of the Civil Air Patrol, editor of Flying magazine.
A great set. I always look for isolated tree shots when I am out. Especially like the first one.
Outstanding series of themed shots. I particularly like the tones and composition of 3 but my favorite is 5. Terrific detail, great composition and color - what's not to love!
Thank you very much Sylvia.
Cheers.
