Perhaps my favorite yellow rose...

My choice is a deep yellow miniature named TY (that's it...just TY) that was hybridized by Robbie Tucker and introduced in 2006. This gem grows to a height of three feet and
is constantly in bloom. Blooms are as nearly perfect as any I ever grew. In the attached pictures, the blooms vary in color by nature as well as by existing light conditions and age of the bloom but this adds to the reality of the rose. I hope you enjoy these.

Have a nice week after you recover from the super bowl!

Bob

I know this is an abomination, but I don't even know who's playing in the Super Bowl and didn't know it was in Houston until last night. I can see why this rose would be among your favorites, Bob. It's absolutely beautiful, and your shots of it show its lovely tonal variations.

Simply stunning, Bob. I'm not surprised that it's one of your favorites. The downloads are awesome - great colors, compositions and details. Very nicely done.

Thanks for dropping by the post, Greg. Flowers are usually more co-operative than birds!

Have a nice day!
