people cutting people off from discussions

Have you noticed how some on here are so thin skinned, immature and retaliative that the second you slightly hurt their feelings, they come back with nasty remarks and insults (most of the time make no sense at all; just mean and ignorant remarks) and then they cut you off from the thread. If someone doesn't want someone else's opinion or comments, I say, don't post a topic or discussion. This slamming someone; then cutting them off from being able to reply or defend themselves is not only severely immature, rude and discriminatory but could even in some cases be viewed as libel. If one can't take honest criticism, then they need not post or maybe should even leave the forum for those that can comment with honest criticism for mature adult discussions, without retaliation from a childish tantrum.

I was on and read ALL of the thread you got kicked off of. You brought it on yourself. You are rude and insulting, 9 times out of 10 you only post put downs etc. I have just started to ignore or even skip over anything you post but then I have a resistant personality and my reaction is to do more of what people say not to or just pretend they don't exist and keep on with life.
And, if you decide to make a come back don't expect me to answer. But you will, how do I know, because you just had to put up this post to let everyone know you have been wronged. So you will try a comeback, probably with a putdown attached.*

You might try changing your attitude and the way you address people. As my Grandmother used to say; "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar." Being nicer may not make you friends, but it doesn't make enemies either. "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything." I just violated that one, but...

*Let's see if reverse psychology works here, but, I doubt it will.

i prefer the old way of handling a smart mouth;
just walk over and kick the snot out of them.
Straightens them right out.

The mouth should have three gatekeepers:
"Is it true?"
"Is it kind?"
"Is it necessary?"

I give my opinions. If one takes it harshly, I'm sorry; it is not meant to be delivered that way at all. But to be honest, it's not not my problem but theirs if they cannot take constructive criticism. Just one more reason to get off the wagon if you can't take a response that doesn't tickle your ego. You can try all the psych games you want to make me the bad guy, but that's not the answer. Yes, I am going to comment back to you; your comment required a response. I am not mad at for you for it; neither do I feel insulted or hurt for your opinion. And lastly, I am not going to block you from the thread for stating your opinion either. And lastly, I posted this thread because I have seen this immature act done by a select few on this site to many hogger's and all for the same reasons; because they got their little baby feelings hurt and it's time they grow up and quit acting like a baby that just had their candy taken away.

I thought it was, "If you can't think of something nice to say about somebody, come sit by me."

And that is one's right to do so. So is it, someone's right to comment. Ya know, the old saying really applies here and that is that opinions are like back ends; everyone has one. There is a large group here in America that think that if you don't think exactly as they do; they have a right to abuse you, even to the insanity of causing physical harm. This is the same kind of abuse on the hogg; it's wrong. It's called cyber bullying.
