Last day of my Everglades adventure.

These ten photos complete my pictorial description of my weekend in the Everglades.
I have included a photo of a sign showing the area where we traveled. I hope that this will answer some of the questions asking where we were.
The sunrise photo with the Yellow-Crowned Night Hweron has some strange circular shadings in the brighter areas. After much contemplation, I realized that this was caused by condensation on the lens.

Thank you GWR, I appreciate your looking in and your kind comment. In Marco Island, there are burrows scattered about in residential area and are surrounded with plastic ribbon to protect the nesting birds. The owls seen to be acclimated to people gawking at them. I was no more than twenty feet away, there was no sign if distress.

Larry, excellent photos, been there. The Crocodile photo, in particular, is fantastic. The average person may not understand that they are relatively rare in the US (Everglades/Florida) and pass it off as another Alligator. Well done.

Nice set, I use to fish out of Everglades City all the time when I lived in Florida. That's one thing I really miss.

The best part of this trip is not the wildlife - I can see virtually all of these critters within a mile or two of home (the exception is the crocodile). What makes this trip so special is the comradery of some very special people.
