Having watched the run-up to the election, I also consider the MSM the enemy of the Republicans.
Every chance they got, they excoriated Trump, while also taking every chance they got (a LOT of chances) to ignore anything bad about Clinton. The bias was visible to everyone.

We see what we want. Most of the media gave Trump a free ride on all the serious national / international issues and the questions about his character. Clinton on the other hand was held to a much higher standard for no other reason than to appear fair to Trump.
