Photoshop Training Channel, on Jan 23, showed a very short tutorial stating that one can see all the pixels in an image by going to Image>Reveal All. No version of PS is specified; I am running 2017. I closed all other apps and followed the instruction to find the "Reveal All" is grayed out. With everything else closed, and nothing else happening in PS, I was at a loss as to how to overcome this obstacle. Any help is appreciated.
you have to have more than 1 layer to use reveal all
if you just want to see the whole image use ctrl/cmd 0 to fit the image to the viewable screen
Thanks for the quick reply; will give it a try and report back.
Thanks again, tsilva. Using another layer was the answer.
