Oh I'm in trouble. Borrowed a vintage Leica 50mm f/1 Noctilux this weekend for a portraiture workshop, and I fear a massive drain of money is soon to follow.
When a lens ends in LUX.... you are in for a financial drain beyond comparison to anything CaNikonY.
Nice draw... wish you had clicked save original, into download.
had that same feeling in a camera store in beirut lebanon as i caressed a F .95 rangefinder camera.
Sadly, i've never even seen one since that magic afternoon back in the 60's.
great shot
Sorry, not giving away the full file.

Neither would I.
Nice!
Sorry I can't help you with your GAS issues... or maybe I did.
This is good example of why you can't just crank up the ISO to counter getting a faster lens.

WOW! I'm not a critic, and really don't know 'why' I like this photograph, but I REALLY do like this shot. I hope you get a lot more feedback, as I am curious to know the what other, more experienced, folks think. 👍👏👍
Brother, if every image you took with the lens would look like what you posted, you go for it.

My pusher (I mean Leica store owner) is finding a clean, used 50mm f/1 Noctilux as I write this. I should have it by next Wednesday. Now to sell the last of my Canon gear to pay for the damned thing.

I know, the 35mm f/1.4 Summilux ASPH FLE (current version) hit me hard last year, but it has its own magic.

What Leica are you using? Or are you using the lens on a non-Leica body.

M-D 262 (the one without a screen), M Monochrom (the old M9-based one) and for film an M5.
