Flower on Railing

I shot this when I was on a photography outing with some of my fellow photographers. I was looking for out of place items and decided to put this flower on the railing so I could have a pretty subject while at the same time, having an interesting perspective. I shot it with my old Canon Powershot S21S. My aperture was f/3.5 and a shutter speed of 1/400. Please comment on a critique my photos!
