I shot this in Nebraska in the middle of one of the scariest storms I have every been in. I had churning clouds with terrifying lightning. Unfortunately, I was just getting into photography and did not have a tripod. If I had, I could have gotten some awesome shots with lightning in the background. I used my old Canon S2IS with an aperture of f/2.7 and a shutter speed of 1/40. Please comment on and critique my photos.

i've lived in nebraska and iowa and seen those clouds.

I was in Joplin MO when that tornado leveled the place. The clouds were something like that but bright oranges and reds if I remember right. Really pretty.

Very good composition with the massive cloud formation above a sliver of ground and sky below. Scary looking storm.
