Met up with some photographers from the State of Maine Photographers FB page. It was their first meet up and there were about 10of us - some drove 4 hours to come. Nice folks ranging from beginner to professional. I was working with some filters - don't usually use them...good practice.

Gee I don't know I like them all....Pemaquid should be nice in January

practice is the idea to perfect or to play with ideas and enjoy the lens

music is like a ear/lens to see/hear/effect on odd/occasions by me (odd)

rocks dirt sand holds water plus clay works too deep to measure/later boss

Good one Richard....and 70 years ago I started skiing like that in West Brattleboro, VT....and I'm still enjoying my beer too eine bier bitte

Thank you, RR! I have yet to put on my first pair of skis. Although I did some ice skating and roller skating as a teener, I was never enthusiastic about sports -- except that I loved to walk and hike, which was a good match for a would-be photographer!

Hey, Bill, my friend! Nice to hear from you again. I don't think Ol' Miss has to worry about snowscapes, but we in Colorado have avalanches that wipe out roadways and crush mountain homes. Personally, I have to stay indoors when the outdoor conditions get slippery. At my age, a fall could be catastrophic. Stay warm, Bill!

I look at this one, cannot find a subject so I thought..well I'm in Bill's mind I hope that I'll never learn to do these things because there is other stuff to do in life, and they'd be pushed aside
