Unusual mobility trike.

We are all familiar with battery powered mobility scooters. Here is one with a difference. This one has a gasoline (petrol) motor & is registered/licensed to drive on a public road. It is classified by the authorities as a motor cycle. The owner rides his conventional battery powered scooter on to this one & drives this one while sitting on the smaller one. Obviously, he can't ride the bigger one on footpaths or take it into shops, so he rides the bigger one 2 miles to town & then uses the smaller one to do his shopping.
I wonder if he has fatties on the rear & a turbo in mind, lol.
Hmmm...well OK. I think I'll just stick to my roller skates.
I've never seen anything like that, Earl.
What a clever idea! I've never seen or heard of anything like that before.

I've seen other Gold Wings with similar conversions. A crippled man was able to operate the bike from his wheelchair. He stopped the bike, unlocked his chair, and wheeled himself out.

Ron, I think you are right. I just assumed that he had an electric scooter but I didn't actually see it. Come to think of it, I doubt if a scooter would fit, & I now agree with you--it probably is for a wheel chair. Earl.

The wheel chair access that Hal mentioned would make this really useful to a lot of folks. Nice post Earl

OK! When I saw the first picture (without reading your description) I immediately thought the user would be in a wheel chair. Never thought of a smaller mobility scooter.
