I had a friend with a 3D printer make the gadget. He also has a Canon and could not get it to fit, Roger said it was to thick. I was able to mount my 50/1.8 OK but it was very, very snug, my Tamron 16-300 would not fit at all.. It needs to be a bit thinner. It appears there are two versions, I could not get the one with longer "ears" to fit at all.
Nice idea tho.

Super glue works pretty well and, with it, you have an excuse to buy a new camera for each lens...
