So, I have been wanting to get to this place for a bit and never made it happen...'til now. The scene: a rainy late winter afternoon in WNC, crappy boots that slid all over the muddy rock, I limp due to too many motorcycle accidents and only one fall during the whole mile an a half walk up hill!!!
(None going back) And sunset only 1/2 hour away.
I took a couple other shots, I think they may be better, but I wanted to post this one now. I used a Tamron 90mm Marco tele and one speed light set at high with the zoom maxed out. It did help to illuminate the rocks a little.
I know this shot is no part of great, but I was impressed that the flash could actually throw a little light that far.
I like it, Chefneil! Well worth your effort! And I like the natural looking water rather than the milky!
