Magpie in a light beam.

The sun had disappeared over the hills & the only direct sunlight was a ray that was streamed in through a small gap in the Norfolk Pines. The magpie surprised me by walking straight into the light beam. There was only a moment of opportunity so I didn't have time to compose an ideal shot. Downloading is recommended.

Earl, this is what I call a lucky photo. The luck involved the magpie walking into the light. Everything else was you being there, ready to take a great photo due to your ability because you are always practicing your photography daily. Just my $.02 but that is the way I look at photos of this type. It takes a skilled photographer to take advantage of a lucky setup.
