After 30 years since last visit, I decided to take a little morning drive from Scottsdale to Saguaro Lake (about 50 minutes). Beautiful morning after the rain. Depicted below is a view of Stewart Mountain Dam (little cottage is part of the Saguaro Lake Ranch which I am anxious to try), the ranch, and the dock for the cruise boats. The horseback rides are supposed to feature fabulous views which we will sample in the Spring.

Thanks to all...I was amazed by the imposing scenery which I had somehow suppressed in the thirty years that have passed since my last visit to the lake. Looking forward to spending a night there and having a sunset dinner on the lake.

I wonder how the night sky looks over that part. I would guess it's stunning
Ranches in general I find them good places for a variety of photos. Nature, birds, animal, country side .. what's not to love about :)
