Loc: A sleepy little island not far from Seattle
Who mentioned Sauvie Island? I've been visiting the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, just across the river, I've done some of my best bird and wildlife photography there. Thanks for the heads up on Sauvie Island, it's on my list pf places to visit with camera in hand.

Sutter, Graylodge, Delevan and Colusa wildlife areas are located near I-5 between Williams and Willows, a distance of about 30 miles, while still offering access to the coast without going through high population and high traffic areas. By taking the Hwy 20 exit at Emigrant Gap, you can work your way to the Willows/Williams area and avoid large populations. PM me for specific details. I have lived in that area and hunted those four areas for years.
