I like the texture you gave this beautiful shot.
Thanks Sirius ....... it's my "faux Impressionism" painting style. I use it a lot on my photos from Paris.

That is a narrow street--one way, I hope.

Thanks John. Even the people seemed to be going one way (those ones walking in the street)

Nice. Now for some technical stuff. When I shoot scenes like this, I have trouble with perspective. Did you do adjustments for that? Seems like I never get it "right."

Thanks Kathy. In this case I had to straighten the horizon a bit. Often times I pick a happy medium. But I have a tool I use sometimes if things get too far out of hand ...... it's a filter called Perspective Pilot by a company called Two Pilots. It lets you draw straight vertical and horizontal lines, then stretches the pixels to make it fit. I used it a few days ago on a cathedral organ that needed some work.

Narrow streets - the Latin Quarter, Paris

Nice shot Bob but not the first thing that came to mind. "Round Every Corner" made me think of a Pop Song from the mid to late sixtys.

I have 2 or 3 of her best-hit CDs in my collection.

Go to YouTube and look it up and listen to that song if you want, a very good tune.

Thank you Merlin. This forum is about photography, not old music, so I'm glad you liked the photo.

Thank you Sue. Sometimes those narrow alleys feel a bit claustrophobic. But the view was well worth it.
