Even the oranges for the Baltimore Orioles aren't safe from this guy!
Checking the Baltimore Oriole food
Almost there
Got it!
Take it down for lunch.
Enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Cute. You could go to a bird feeder store and get something to put on that to keep the squirrels off. Just be sure to keep the feeder away from any trees then.

I have been putting orange halves on this hook for several weeks and this is the first time the squirrels have bothered it. Shortly after I took these pictures this fox squirrel came and got the rest of the orange. I will no longer be able to feed the baltmore orioles with this method.
These are very nice! I would not want to get rid if him.

Don't worry mollymolly, we don't intent to get rid of him or his cousins the gray squirrels and black squirrels. We will continue feeding these "birds" as well as the raccoons, deer and the occasional skunk. Rbo36
Fox, Gray and Black Squirrels
That was a nice short story and nice pictures. I have kitty cats and a few strays find their way to my house and a possum or two. They all get along so who am I to complain.

I have only had one opossum come to my feeders and that was some time ago. (opossum - possum, both are correct)
Interesting sequence.
