Which is better for bird photography: A tripod or a monopod.

i think it really depends on the situation. while i always "prefer" a tripod, i have also used monopods when the need arose. so, in my experience, both are excellent pieces of equipment every photographer should have.

Totally dependent upon what I am shooting. Couldn't do these without a tripod. It would be really difficult.
