I have been using Nikon, D600 and D750. I received a Panasonic Lumix for Christmas and can't figure out how to set ISO level despite a careful reading of the instructions in the detailed manual.

Hello, jimquinn21! I have a Panasonic GX-7 and the ISO setting is the same on both cameras. You probably found the setting by now.
Looking at the back of the camera you'll see the setting menu/set, ISO is above menu/set, can't miss it, w/b is to the right of menu/set.
Very fast settings to change. Hope this helps. AP
The ISO button is on the back of the camera (similar to most cameras) directly above the menu button. If you have located the button and it doesn't allow you to adjust the ISO and if you bought the camera used, the ISO button may have been re-assigned by the previous owner to a different Custom function. Look in your manual for instructions to perform a general Reset. After the reset, the ISO button should work as expected.
When I depress the ISO, the screen show the Direct Focus Area grid and the ISO button moves the choice of where to center the direct focus area.
