Riverwalk Parkway, Riverside, CA
Numbering the ponds south to north this the stretch of man made river north of pond 3. This view is from a foot bridge from the office/light industry area to the east to a bus stop on the main street west of the Riverwalk. You can see the next footbridge that goes to a pedestrian crossing to get to the shopping area, fast food and Starbucks (right at the crosswalk, I wonder why they put it there. Starbucks on one end and a couple of tech schools on the other! It is a mystery, not, office workers and adult students are fueled by coffee.
I just snapped the shot while on the bridge checking if any of the Green Herons, Egrets and Ducks that sometimes hunt this stretch were there on this late afternoon.
The warm sun lite areas came out well but shadows hid details in the trees and the foot bridge. So I went to a favorite app, Paint Shop Pro X8's One Shot HDR sub app.
#1 after HDR, sequence was -1, 0, +1 with tweaking after combining but before final processing
#2 OOC CR2 to JPEG conversion only
7DII, 100-400L mk II+1.4X III @ 140, 1/1000 @ f/6.3, ISO 800 handheld (shutter release is set for focus priority)
Too much blue reflection in the HDR, reimported to LR & I adjusted it down and looked fine, then exported and it came back???
To much blue sky reflection - I adjust and save, it comes back???
