I have the latest version of Lr CC (2017) along with the latest version of the Mac OS (Sierra 10.12.2) and am having an issue where ALL of my side panels along with the top and bottom panels disappear from the screen when, mostly in the Print module but in others as well, I would select some action and/or save a setting. The ONLY way I've found to get them back is to minimize Lr and click on it to bring it back to full size again. I may well have hit some key combination to make this happen but I can not, for the life of me, figure how to make it stop or reset what I did. Anyone got any ideas?
Hit the tab key to turn them on and off.

Try this cjc, make sure the triangular arrows are pointing outward on each panel. This is a screen shot from a photographers LR screen shot.

Jeep_daddy, the tab key works only on my side tabs.....how do you do them all that way without clicking the arrows manually?

If that's the case, you've corrupted something and quitting LR and restarting your computer may resolve the issue.

I think you're correct about something being corrupted, whether I did it myself or not as restarting or rebooting doesn't solve the problem. I'm going to try re-installing the software.
the L key serves to dim then blacken and then restore (it is a 3 way toggle). If you inadvertently hit the L key you would see dark and then black side panels.. also if you right click on the left or right side panel triangle you will see an option set on how to display the side panels auto hide and show or manual should work for you. the middle one, auto hide, will only show the side panels if you mouse over the triangle area...
