Superb. Don't just limit to outdoors and sunsets. Soft candle lighting and a glass of beer (not lite but something unfiltered with body) will give similar pleasing result. This could be a photo in a story in Saveur.

The standard 18 to 55 DX Nikon lens.....and I simply placed my setting on auto without flash. I'm too new to photography to expand much, but I'm hoping this forum helps educate me on the advantages of choosing my own settings....enjoying capturing the beauty of the Santa Barbara area.
