A man with a metal detector in freezing water.
Regis
Loc: Coeur d' Alene, Idaho
He was about 150 feet away. About 50 feet in Lake Coeur d' Alene icy water. The other major lakes nearby
are completely frozen. You can see he is dressed in Cabela's finest clothing and he looks dedicated to the sport
of metal detecting. I hope he finds something other than a cold.
Something different. Maybe a semi-wildlife photo.
Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II DO f4 - Canon 2.0x III - 1/640 - f/11 - ISO @ 800.
800mm. Hand held.
Look honey, nobody ever searches for pocket change way out here, do they?

Great shot, I'll bet he's looking for his car keys. chase
This is an unorthodox method to add to one's gun collection.

There could be coins, rings and other things. Way too cold for me to metal detect.

I hope he finds something worthwhile before his toes get frostbitten.

No, he was too busy trying to strike it rich in out icy lake waters. Brrrrr.
This same area will have many metal detectors like him every Summer trying to find rings, coins, etc.
I posted this photo because it was different.
