Love it!! I call these semi-abstracts because I can pick out "real" stuff in 'em and that is my preference. The colors are beautiful, there are a lot of details to enjoy, the balance seems very pleasing, and your framing is exquisite.

I will give you a very honest reply. I like abstract art. I like the warm colours that you chose. I also like the way you composed this; with one exception. I keep wanting to cock my head to the right because of the way it is composed. In the manner you laid out the elements (all elongated), it looks as though it should be turned 90 degrees to the right as in a portrait. However, I do see why you did it this way. I still like it.

Oh, and this is probably one of the best pieces I have seen on UHH in a long while.

so.... your comment intrigued me and I went back and flipped the shot 90 degrees. I does create a different feel but then it seemed that I was falling "up". The lighting strike also felt out of place on the vertical. The nice thing about abstracts though, is you can view them any way you want.

Thanks for your comment/suggestion, especially for that last one. It's great to get that support from someone who's work I also respect.

Thank you! Yeah, what was that abstract that was hanging in the Louvre for 50 years and some one figured out that it was hanging upside down or something like that?

I am glad that you added a download. An outstanding semi abstract that really works for me as a work of art.

Nice job. Looks like a memorial to the Rust Belt.
