I think she is short changing a big proportion of women. While a big diamond may be nice to show off, what the ring (diamond or not) really means probably counts a damn site more to most woman than its size

The larger the ring a man gives a woman, the smaller...

I have been in the jewelry all my life and sold many diamond rings and one thing I have never heard a women say is "the diamond is to big".

The size of a diamond does not measure the depath or intensity oof man's love for his fiancé / wife.

Geeze, the lady has a sense of humor; her observation made me smile. Perhaps we need to lighten up just a bit! 😀

For those women who think they are getting a new diamond, you are so wrong.where do you think some of those diamonds came from.when you trade your old 1/4ct. diamond for a 1/2or 3/4ct diamond do you think they trash your old one or melt it to make a new shiny one, wrong.remember, diamonds are forever.

I was very fortunate to have a wife who loved the rings I bought her and then later said not to buy any more things like that but instead buy "dirt". What she meant was to have us buy together land to build a home on and be happy. She was a beautiful person and I miss her terribly.

well said .... my wife wears the diamond i bought her and one my grandmother had and gave to her before she passed. had them both put into one ring. she has had hundreds of compliments on her ring and even had the prongs replaced this year as they wore down far enough we felt we could lose the stones. it will now last longer than either one of us

Fiancé is masculine and Fiancée is feminine. So if he is heterosexual then his wife to be is his fiancée. Viva La France.
