Eagle missing the fish

Took this picture 2 days ago. Usually the eagles are very good at this and rarely miss the grab (especially the white headed adults). This time he missed. By the way, in case you didn't know, the American Bald Eagle doesn't get a full white head until they are 5 years old.

I was at Lock and Dam 14 on the Mississippi in LeClaire, Iowa. Fantastic place to catch eagles up close and feeding. Actually, it's considered one of the best places in the world for these kind of shots. Just Google "Lock and Dam 14 eagles and you can find lots of info about it.
