Fountain of Life

I shot this in downtown of Pensacola, Fl. I saw the falling water along with the steeple in the background and thought it would make a perfect shot. I used my old Canon Powershot S21S. An aperture of f/8, and a shutter speed of 1/400. Please critique my photos!

Unusual. I would have used a wider angle so that the viewer didn't have to guess at the subject. If you hadn't told us it was a fountain I would not have spent much time trying to understand it. Also there is a spot underneath the fountain that I would have removed...distracting. I do like the steeple in the background.

Thank you for your critique. You are right, but I was only just getting into photography at the time and did not know much about it.

Looks to me like the spot under the fountain is a drop of water and should be left alone. I like it as it is.

Hi Matthew. Pretty interesting shot. I like it. But I would have stepped back a few steps to see more of the fountain. OH and you have a weird eye!:):):)
