Black Skimmer & Green Sea Turtle In Flight

Went birding at South Padre Island last week and picked up these two shots. Ok, so maybe the Green Sea Turtle was not flying but he sure wanted to! About 50 Greens got rescued in the bay during the cold weather and they were being released from the Sea Turtle Hospital the day we were there! Ranged in size from a few pounds to over 70 pounds. Interesting day!

A very appealing set of images for sure. I'm glad to know that folks are rescuing those sea turtles and helping them to survive.
