Maybe that's his "toasting arm"? I'd drink to "much money"!

Hmmmm... Note that all the letters in "much money" are cramped together tight, while the "T o" is spaced out. That might be Photoshopped to create the spelling error...

I often wonder if its a pronunciation thing with this spelling error. Its so easy isn't it to get it right if you pronounce this particular" 2 "with a long "o" as in. "I had too many beers after I went to the pub" I dont think this is photoshopped but its such a common mistake nowadays and on this board that its not worth mentioning anymore.

I think it's just an indication that spelling is not emphasized in our education system any more. People I went to school with would not make that error, or the ones confusing "there/their/they're", "here/hear", "brake/break", etc. Folks today seem to rely on the spell checker in their computers, smart phones, etc. and that software is notorious for not handling homonyms well.

re: our education system

Try buying something for like a $1.25 at someplace like McDonald's, then give the kid a $5 bill with a quarter and watch him try to figure out what to give you back.

The cash registers are and have been idiot proof for a long time. After you hit the "sub total" key, you enter the "amount given" and the register automatically shows you the change owed to the customer. I could do it either way when I worked as a barmaid and didn't want to take the extra time to punch in the amount given.

I think the point was that we were all able to do simple mental arithmetic because we were taught how to do it at school in our time of education, obviously that doesn't happen anymore

Some can't do it with a calculator.
