Goldfinches at the Nyjer Seed Feeder

The Goldfinches have been devouring lots of Nyjer seeds recently at the sock feeder. It has been snowing lightly off and on all week long in our neighborhood.

Thank you Angela. I have had the feeder up for a couple of weeks now, and this is the second time that they have shown up in mass like this.
Certainly fun to watch them.

Nice shot, Phil! They used to have a similar feeder at the park where we go but it's not there anymore..and neither are the goldfinches. :(
