Lift truck problem.
I know I'm on the wrong forum for this question but!!!!!!! Anyone here ever worked on a lift truck the kind power company and tree trimmers use? Mine started turning very slow all at once when I was swing it back to set on truck. I don't know if its an electrical or hydraulic problem.
Operator problem. Operator of the forum selection committee I mean. Or maybe not.

The first thing I would do is go online and see if the company that built the lift system has a web site, if they do, check for any online support or downloadable manuals.

If I understood correctly, I'd say the problem is hydraulic since the motion is controlled by hydraulics. Since you said it was turning slowly I assume that the other motion (raising and lowering the bucket) is not affected. In that event it is probably a blockage in the hydraulic line that does the turning. You might have to check the hose connections. In any case I'd advise changing the hydraulic filter.
I do have the manuals but no help. I asked my neighbor he is good with hydraulics. He thinks it is a restricted hydraulic line being it happened all at once. He said he would look at it in the spring. I changed the filter but that didn't help. Thanks for your help.
Inspect the hydraulic lines, and see if one has a kink in it. That would explain the sudden onset.
