Has anyone ever had dealings with this company located in New York City? It seems they buy and sell cameras and other photographic equipment. There site is: mpb.com
I would like to get some feed back on them.
Thanks,
Tom G

They are a long established UK company who have recently started trading in the US. Very highly thought over here.
Graham
Highly recommended, well established here in the UK.
Hi Tom, I have dealt with MPB.con for years now, they are based in Brighton which is in the south of England.
They are utterly reliable and I have no problem recommending them.
Many Thanks to all of you who replied. I am glad to hear the very positive news.
I recently sent (sold) them a camera for which they agreed to pay me a reasonable amount. They first asked for my bank information so they could deposit directly; however, I did not want to divulge that information, so they gladly said they would send me a check which should arrive next week.
I will report back when the check arrives.
I have been to the U.K. many times back in the 90's (now retired), and even to Brighton. I miss the "Real Ale".
Real Ale, second best thing next to the correct F Stop.
I very recently did a part exchange with MPB in England. The turn around was three days , they paid what they offered originally ( no trying to drop the price after they received my camera ) and all friendly telephone calls . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them
Yes, All Good.
I received their check several days ago, earlier than I expected. It was for the full amount along with a brief note.
Very refreshing to deal with a company that actually does what they said they would do.
And, I also recommend them.
I've both bought and sold equipment from them when they came to New York. No problems. The only "issue" I had was the camera I bought (a Fuji XPro1) had an international charger cable not a USA one. Not a big deal, but, I guess the take away here is that they are an international company so you may be buying equipment from another country. Dunno if that is an issue or now. It isn't for me.
One thing I have noticed though is that on some things their prices are great, on others, they are charging near new prices. Shop around before you purchase from them.
what is their URL? When I try mlb.com it keeps jumping to the major league baseball site (mlb.com)
