My young tree bore 13 oranges this year; large, juicy and sweet.

Below the tree are gazanias and geraniums

Nicely done, Sirius. Your beautiful images leave me wondering what I'm doing sitting in a snow bank sucking on an icicle while you're sitting in your flower garden eating a fresh picked orange. I'm humming California Dreamin' as I write this.

Thank you my friend for your encouragement and nice remarks. As you may surmise, I spend a lot of time on hobby #1; I know it is faster to take a photo, but I am still not very good at it. Better at hobby #1

Very beautiful and the oranges look like they are just about ready to taste!

I'm jealous! Had to rip my orange tree out as the fruit were always stained from mold and not tasty. Also the tree "caught" greening, the citrus disease.

Shooting is much faster than the brush, but I know you are so talented and it shows in each brush stroke you take!! ...but just look through that camera eye and there's always something, anything to shoot!!

That is sad; I have only the best about Florida oranges. Do you have any other fruit trees that do better?

Thanks for the nice compliments. Unfortunately, even on auto I often get soft focus shots It must be my camera, it couldn't possibly be me but I do keep trying.

I lost a lime and lemon also. Now I'm trying mangos. We're in a marginal climate for mangos, so we'll see.
