I don't usually bother with pictures of birds sitting in the feeder. This guy is not a regular visitor here so I grabbed the camera and waited for him to move up a little on the branch. For about a half hour he sat there eating and watching the other birds. None of the other birds bothered him, then he was gone,

delightful shot of that beautiful female downy bill. thirty minutes to get some shots...how fun!

Nice shot but I think it's a she. I believe the male has a red crown on the back of his hear but I could be wrong....Rich
