Thank you for posting an image that reminds us that we can make something out of nothing when pressed. You've surely got a muddy ditch, some bare trees, and some sludgy looking ice - not the prime ingredients for a grand landscape. But from that you still got detail, movement, leading lines, and all the tonalities we could want.
"Cool" reminder for us all to open our eyes, and embrace the ugly!

And, of course, in all its muddied puddlishness, it sets off that isolated jewel of perfectly reflective un-frozen water!
Good eye!
Dave
I'm loving the rich tangle of winter grass and weeds that balance the scene so well. Very engaging composition of a scene I'm positive I'd have driven right past
Yet it still looks like an awesome landscape!! The water pathway and reflection invite us in, but not too far. Thank you for showing us where you drag the bodies.
Graham, to me, that is still landscape, and a very done one at that.

Thanks Bob, as you know a picture like this is created by dodging and burning.

I like it; I have some of those myself.
The leading lines are nice, and the black and white processing suits the subject well.
