Nice snowstorm arrived on Christmas eve. Red rocks - white snow - blue sky ... a good combination.

I enjoyed the last 3 most, I'm always impressed with how trees manage to grow in rocky environments.

Thanks. Wet red sandstone is much "more vivid red"; so winter is a good time to view this area. I thought it was cold until yesterday when the local Utah news station reported a place called "Middle Sinks" in northern Utah was -53*f (no wind). I guess Zion is tropical compared to that!
