This camera is out of warranty. I have tried all ways suggested to fix myself. Need a recommendation of a reasonable priced repair shop to send to. Thanks

Maybe buying a used copy would be cheaper than a repair. If I were to need a camera repair, I would send it to the manufacturer. Contact Panasonic and get an estimate or minimum cost first.

Rather than buy a used FZ200 why not go for a new or refurbished FZ300, the improved new model. Improved video, processor, waterproof and dustproof and video. it might be worth it to get a newer, improved model unless you get a smoking deal on the FZ200. Just a suggestion. 
The FZ200 is a great camera but it is a least 3 years old so older technology.

Thanks azphotobug, I guess I will get an estimate first, then decide what to do. I an concerned about the tenderness/fragileness of the Panasonic zoom lens though.

I have a FZ200 and I love it but it is older technology. I use it for shooting in concert arenas and at pro football games. It does a great job and I help (LOL). For me, the only shortcoming is the relatively small sensor. But, you can't beat the 2.8 Aperture throughout the zoom. I was looking at the Sony RX10 iii but it is $1600 and is considered the best super zoom bridge camera on the planet. Is that worth triple the price of the FZ300? Good luck in your search. :-)
