Either the Olympus TG-4 or the Olympus TG 800 series. Or if you also want video too, try the Olympus TG-Tracker.

That is a big, fat, NO. No zoom lens, ultra wide angle, this camera is very small and designed to fit on your head, helmet, bike, kayak, and record most of the action up close and personal. Great little camera the GoPro. It is very much the nitch camera, very, very unique. With this camera you set it up and it records on its own, you usually do not hand hold it, that's why it has a wide angle lens.

UHH's own PC Policeman strikes again!
Another vote for the TG4. If there's a risk it might get submerged...that's the camera you'll want.
