We went to a friends house out in the swamp. This man's back yard has a large pond and a lot of trees and foliage. There had to be over a hundred birds. Six or seven different types. Two Alligators and all kinds of fish in the pond. We sat on a deck next to the pond and shot to our hearts content. I shot over 600 raw files. [not all keepers]

I looked at the first two also, but #3 is my favorite: all those huge colorful birds in seemingly flimsy treetops. Love the composition and subject!

What a treat that must have been Jim, excellent captures of beautiful Spoonbills and Egret.

Excellent set Jim. I love the close up shot of the Spoonbill and the Egret is an excellent shot too.

Thanks Linda. I have never seen any place like this. At one point there was seven
Rose spoonbills in that tree.
