Photos of the upper falls and one of the twin falls.
Perdernales Falls is on the Perdernales river in the Texas Hill country. Most of the river goes underground in submerged caverns and the falls area is a couple of miles long. Great Hiking.
Photo one is of the approach to the falls. The other photos are of the caverns, falls and river.
The twin falls is off the river in a Grotto lined with ferns. There are two falls but the lower area is closed for restoration one of the falls cannot be seen from the provided vantage point.
Very nice photos. I will have to pay a visit to this State Park soon.
Thank you. It is one of my favorite parks. We go at least once a year.
It is a great place for star watching. Sky's are very dark at night. There is an amphitheater especially for star watching. Behind the bird blind.
I visited there last fall. I enjoyed the hiking. Thanks for posting.
