watch out she may think your a terrible photographer but amazing at using PS...

She's lucky to have you to help her get it figured out. Should really up her learning curve and make it more fun with less frustration!

Oh, it's about photography. I thought you were bragging about something else.

Jerry, Jerry what are we going to do with you and your mind. I had never thought of that until you mentioned it. Honest. LOL

LOL!! You may have created a monster. Mine is often driving me nuts by wanting me to show her how to do something. I saved the url to Anthony Morganti in her web browser now so when she asks something, I just bring up his site and tell her to learn it an then teach me. I already know a lot of it but I sometimes either learn something I didn't know or get a new perspective on something I thought I already knew.

Well, we cannot teach the other anything...
I just expose her to the 'stuff' so she knows it exists then she does whatever. She is a fast learner and calls on me only when stumped meaning... Rarely.
I have sealed my fate on that one...

I know what you mean. Mine decided that since she has "all of this photo knowledge", access to my D7100 and D610 (theoretically) and her (formerly my) D70s, several good lenses, and Lightroom/Photoshop that she is qualified to be a "professional" photographer. So, she is constantly shooting family get gatherings, babies, etc. for free (all they have to do is pay for printing etc. Then she loads her images (which many are terrible) and wants me to "fix" them so that they look "professional". I do insist that she put her OWN watermark on the images since I don't want anyone to think that I took them ... lol. And I thought I was just being nice and inviting her to go along when I went out shooting nature etc. Now, you know what they say about a little knowledge being dangerous? She is the poster child for dangerous with a loaded camera.
Sometimes, I think I liked it better when she was just looking over my shoulder as I processed my days shooting. I have been trying to teach her to fix her own messes but have gotten mixed results. I hope you have better results with yours.

Mine is quite different... She is over critical of her own stuff and really hates 'interference'.
It is just that we have different learning processes. She wants an overall and then dive into learning. I want details then expand on them... The result is that in many things she has the global picture when I get the knowledge that makes it work. After a time we meet in the middle then invade each other territory!!!

Actually, then the two of you (should) make a pretty good team.
