Laying in the snow

I don't mean to be mean but, if you're going to lay in the snow you could try doing it in front of something a tad more interesting. No2 is more attractive as more is in focus but both require the wb sorting - they have a blue tint. Like your approach, just not fascinated by the subject.

Thanks, I will work on the wb, but the subject is what I was going for

Although the white balance is very blue, it is an appropriate color because it is a reflection of a very blue, cloudless sky. The camera is showing the reality of its capture.

My only wish for that second image would be that you had been there before the breezes had blown clumps of the new-fallen aggregates of flakes from their sites of landing!

I am always amazed that despite their infinite variety of shape and response to moving air every snowflake finds it's specifically designated and ordained spot upon which to settle!

Thanks for responding,I did get a chance for more pics as we had more snow on New Year Eve, but i did not get any close up of snow flakes

Thanks, I did read up on capturing snow, and we had more sonw, so I went out and tried some more shots[quote=Uuglypher]
