At 8FPS, I burned through some memory with these gals, so it has taken me some time to go through all of the frames.
This one also seems quite interesting !
Sony A77II, Minolta 70-210, f4.5 (wide open), 1/500, (manual mode) ISO 1600 ( I cap my ISO at 1600), hand held, through black fencing ( losing light!), shot as JPEG, PP in Elements 9 on my XP computer.
When I first walked up on these gals, they were just lounging around as I have seen them do before - so I was at 1/500 - then the unexpected "attack" - so there is more motion blurring than I would prefer - but I am hoping the content will over-ride this technical deficiency and lend a feeling of motion/speed ! ? ......As the session progressed, I switched to 1/800 later.
Also, not sure of my spelling of plural Grizzly ?
Nice shot! I think your spelling is accurate.
You are your own worst critic,Larry. Action shots that are well detailed! And those jaws! Not to mention the splash of water from that spontaneous attack!

Thanks again for your insightful comment !

When I first saw this I was disappointed, but the more I look at this the better it looks - technically. The PP I did really helped !

Nope, no ticket from the spelling police - grizzlies it is! (I do a lot of proofreading for my job.)
Picky old man! Keeps us going! I'd be proud of this capture!

Thank you so much merrytexan !
.......
The last time I visited the Bears, I rented a Sony A99 and was very disappointed ( not with the camera) and did not get anything worthwhile ! - so this sort of makes up for that I guess !
