It's that time again--our annual 'Post Your Best' thread.. Christmas is over, the year is fast drawing to a close, and if you're like me, you took a lot of photos. Pick the one you like best from your work over this past year to share with us. Doesn't need to be an award winner, doesn't matter if you've posted it before. It can be any genre, it can be heavily processed, no post work, or anything in between. But let us see what moved you most from 2016, and thanks for contributing!

I'll start with a shot of my favorite Dark Lady, Madame P.

Madame P looks stunning!

Glad you created this topic, Randy. Will be fun and interesting to view the entries!

Regarding your request, "what moves you the most," I can't decide between these two:

1. the glorious color, the silence and forest scents of Cascade Mountains in autumn

2. Mt Rainier, inspiring at all times, giving us a hint of her awesome beauty and presence in the early morning

Two gorgeous shots, Linda! The fall scene is truly an eye-catcher with all that color, and the shot of Mt. Ranier is absolutely awesome! Love the clouds and sense of enormous majesty in this one. Don't think I could choose either one as 'best,' but we'll agree on a tie, lol. You've done some really great images this year, and I'd have a really hard time picking another of yours to top this pair! Thanks for submitting these!

I'd have a hard time picking the 'best' of this group. I lean towards number two with the beautiful lighting, but enjoyed all three. Thanks for submitting these to our 'Best of 2016' thread!

It's really hard to pick a favorite but here are a couple of fairly recent shots that I really liked. Since I do a lot of nature I always have favorites in that category and I have really developed a fondness for architectural type shots as well.

Great idea Randy, what a great way to close out 2016 with a look at some of our best photos from 2016. I'll certainly be checking back to see everyone's work. For me...this Courthouse stands out in my mind. We were visiting friends in this little sleepy town of Ottawa Kansas and I fell in love with this building. Waited till evening so I could get more dramatic lighting...
Happy shooting Folks in 2017...!!!

Two beauties, Carol! Love the theme of repetition in both! Great choices for this 'Best of' thread! Thanks for sharing them with us!
