Hi Hogs, (Hope YOUR Holiday(s) was/is/are THE BEST ...yet.!)
-----Now, given that DPR 'just' (i.e. 12/26/16 - see Re-2 above), proclaimed the THE BEST (image & technology) of 20-15, was a TIE: ...Samsung NX1; ...Sony A7Rii;
---What THEN {having used 'one' on a Shoot), would YOU NOW-argue is Better {at THIS PRICE POINT} than Either the 'mentioned' Samsung or the Sony ...and WHY.???

I don't fully trust anything that comes from DP Review simply because it's owned by Amazon and needless to say it's a form of advertising in disguise in my view.

My camera has apparently won the most innovative award, and has been nominated for a few others (product of the year, best high-end ilc). What do I win...an empty bank account.

Thanks much. I usually don't get into that site because much of the content I have dealt with is just folks sharing personal views that may or may not be valid. I am not disparaging your post.

Hi 'Cdouthitt'... Sorry if I Offended or Confused. I'm confused by your response. Which of your listed camera's is TOP-Rated {the E1ii} I was REALLY Impressed, as well.
---Could YOU be more specific ...in answering MY specific question.?
---Thanks Clint

Hi 'DaveO'... Thanks. My penchant is to make the Great ...GREATER; ...and That in a number of fields, not just 'The Technology of Photography'. --- Hence my constant Search for a REASONABLY-Priced, Camera (with a VF and Flash and Hot-shoe [or equivalent ]), that will allow me to: 'Compose and Trip the shutter', and FULLY expect to CAPTURE (not Create with PP) a VERY-Realistic semblage of my subject.!!!
