Taking son back to Omaha yesterday (Christmas Day), we left home in drizzle. Run into thick fog in North Omaha.
He made his flight & got home to Chicago fine! However, on our way back home, we ran into the front with the
torrential rain. Was so bad we couldn't see the road. I could see the white line on right side of road, so we continued
driving, however SLOOOOWly for 4-5 minutes and then ran out of that mess! When we got home, the sun came out
for this beautiful double rainbow and sunset reflection in the clouds. Then within 30 minutes the winds came up.....
blowing at 65mph!!! Lots of BIG pine trees were laid over around town, with roots pulled right out of the ground!
What a Christmas to remember!!!!
