For all of you whoconstantly point to the fact that hillary won the popular vote, and therefore should be president, think about this. A rank amature, withy no political experience, ran against a political pro. The most qualified person ever to run for office Yet this person who never held any political office won. WHY/ Because he played thepolitical gme better than the seasoned pro. Sorta like a beginner photographer havind his first series of photos make the cover of Nat Geo , as well as every photo in the magazine for the next 4 years. So one could make the case that the seasoned pro was not qualified at all, because she was actually the amateur. Amd the "first timer" was the pro.

The 2015 - 2016 campaign season is going to sliced, diced and minced by numerous experts to try to learn the dynamics of what drove the result. One huge question is 'why did the pollseters get things so wrong.' Another is what dynamics really drove the Trump support and why did others miss it. What baffled me was why Hillary did not use every Trump outburst as an opportunity to tell her story.

I'm sure someone here will give me a lesson on polling, but I'm not convinced their "polling" was really wrong. They were apparently guilty of what Hillary's campaign failed to understand correctly. They told us that Hillary was leading in the overall vote...and she was...nationally...but that was not the game. Winning California by 5 million votes has no more impact on the "game" results than winning it by 100.

I have long read that state polling is a lot less accurate because they do not sample enough (do not spend the resources to do so.)

The "game" turned on four states with margins that could be lost in the margin of error for the state polling.

I invite someone to improve on that thought.

Years ago our white pages was at least 2.5 inches thick now it is barely 1/2 inch. So if pollsters are calling landlines, then their sampling must be sub-par. Most everyone I know protect their cell numbers, because incoming calls cost minutes and $$ under many plans. We learned that the young people didn't turn out in big numbers - they are the cell folks who don't get polled. And then there are poll respondents like me - I always lie, lie, lie.

The lie lie lie part is part of the game no doubt. Many lie to the pollsters and that includes exit pollsters. I always lie to any unsolicited pollster.

First of all, no one is saying Hillary should be President because she won the popular vote; what we say is that liberalism was not refuted, as more people voted to support liberal ideals than voted for the other side.

Trump won, but that doesn't make him a "pro," whatever that particular word means in the context. His appeal was that he was not a pro but an amateur. Doubtless Hillary was vastly more qualified, as Trump's activities so far have shown, but the real problem will be the next four years and the corruption and incompetence we will have to live with.

Let us all hope it doesn't involve getting us into another war.

Trump was never playing chess; he won by tapping into racism and hatred.

It's the liberals who are always tossing in the race card, especially when they haven't got anything else to use.
And their riots aren't started with love.

The only poll calls we received were people only interested in talking to registered democrats and did not want to talk to me.
So I can clearly see why their numbers didn't add up.

That was one of her problems, she used Trump's outburst to tell HER story without actually telling her own story. More of the same nonsense would not have altered the peoples decision. The other part of the equation was the continue onslaught mantra that Trump and his supporters were and are deplorable's and racists, who in their right mind would reveal to a pollster that they are going to vote for Trump knowing they will be branded a racists when they are not? << Could this be one of the reasons that the polls were wrong? YES!

So you deny White-Boy is a racist? Remember the Mexican Judge? Paul Ryan (a Republican) said that instance alone was a textbook example of Racism.

And Trump-Boys meetings aren't started with love either.

"In the old days, he'd go out of here on a stretcher." Remember?

Hey, I didn't accuse White-Boy of racism; Paul Ryan did!

You keep stirring the pot, but you got Trump around your neck, fella, like body odor or a bad fart.

Learn to live with it.
