For those of you who are interested in seeing "The Entire Trucking Industry Under One Roof", I've attached a quick copy of the MATS ad that showed up in the December, 2016 issue of FLEETOWNER. I've attended this multiple times and many believe it's the best show in the US. Lots of capture opportunities.
The second picture is of a 5' wide neon sign that was one of a half dozen that hung over the Peterbilt display back in the mid '70s.

Rich, was there any indication of who might be displaying, last year most of teh major truck makers stayed away. I would like to go but also see new trucks.

Hi Ken,
Good point. If you go to the web site provided, the Exhibitor information is about 2016. We may have to wait till closer to the time of the Show in order to get a map of how the floor space will be populated in 2017. They do mention that Registration to attend for the three days of the Show is free if you register before February 23. And the link they provide to "Subscribe to our Newsletter!" takes you to the same page where you would register. I'll register and watch for more information.
Cheers,
Rich
"The entire trucking industry under one roof" would be interesting and a great draw. From what I read about those who went last year, most of the major truck names were absent, so the attendees were disappointed, as I would be. Try to verify why the big boys stayed away last year, and if they will also stay away this year before going out of your way to make it. (I'd rather go to a major truck stop myself, but then, I live a thousand miles from Louisville...)
I live near this venue and a few years ago, I went to this annual show. It is quite impressive. Here's their web site, if interested.
